Our Alumnus Showcases Business Innovation at the event on "Harnessing the Power of Diaspora for the Socioeconomic Transformation of Rwanda"
Kigali on 8th May 2024: At the event on “Harnessing the power of diaspora for Socioeconomic Transformation of Rwanda” which took place at the Kigali Convention Centre, our Alumnus Emmanuel Tuyizere exhibited his Business Innovation aimed at reducing air pollution and protecting the environment.
The event was co-organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM-Rwanda), Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA)-Skills Office and Rwanda Polytechnic.
It aimed to highlight the vital role of the diaspora in Rwanda's economic and social development, sharing successful outcomes of past interventions and exploring opportunities to maintain and build upon the progress achieved.
Emmanuel introduced his pioneering business innovation, the "Green Vehicle System," an electronic device engineered to mitigate vehicle air pollution, demonstrating his commitment to environmental preservation.
Collaborating with his colleagues, Emmanuel Tuyizere spearheaded the establishment of the company "GREENALYTIC LTD," where he assumes the role of CEO. Presently, the company boasts a workforce comprising three permanent and part-time employees.
The event comprised presentations, panel discussions, and exhibitions featuring projects by TVET Young Innovators from Rwanda Polytechnic Colleges, who had received support from IOM Rwanda through "Diaspora engagement in the TVET Sector" Project.

Emmanuel showcases his device to the DVC-ARIA, who also delivered remarks to the attendees during the event.


The participants exhibited enthusiasm and keen interest during the presentations by the students showcasing their business innovations.
