IPRC KARONGI FEATURES TASTE OF KIGALI FOOD FEST

Kigali on 23rd -24th March 2024: IPRC Karongi students in Culinary Arts trade of Hospitality Management Department participated to the Cooking competition in the Taste of Kigali Food Festival.

This two days event that was organized by Rwanda Chef Alliance took place at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV). It was a great platform for our students to showcase their capabilities and hands-on skills to local and international communities in hospitality industry.

In the competition, IPRC Karongi students competed and showcased their skills and talents on an International cuisine which Chef Evaluators tested and admired.

The competition was not only an opportunity to measure the level of skills acquired at the college, but it also gave the students a new level of confidence to share to their peers and take forward in their career.

Apart from Rwanda Polytechnic which was represented by IPRC Karongi, IPRC Musanze and IPRC Ngoma, the cooking competition was also attended by Univesity of Tourism, Technology and Business studies (UTB) and East African University Rwanda (EAUR).
